Olive Branch

A training company or organization licensed in Turkey and can provide a trainer who is responsible for:

– designing the training curriculum, in close consultation with the project’s team. The curriculum should be agreed upon before the start of the training sessions.

– delivering training to 15 CSOs on research design, data analysis and reporting, as well as data and privacy protection. The training is hands-on, interactive, and includes submitting exercises. The training schedule is; second week of February will be held in Gaziantep third of February will be held in Şanlıurfa and first week of March will be held in Hatay.

The training will be on the following subjects:

  1. Digital security and safety and data privacy (as per PDPL regulations), including anonymizing data.
  2. Designing a research project/research methodology (i.e. formulation of research questions, selection of appropriate methods, designing research tools) , with a focus on:
    1. Designing and conducting online questionnaires
    2. Conducting focus group discussions
    3. Data cleaning
    4. Qualitative data analysis (i.e. through thematic coding)
    5. Quantitative data analysis (i.e. how to use Excel, cross tabulations, analysis softwares)
    6. Corroborative techniques and quality assurance

– The trainer delivers a detailed report after each training day and shares this with the Project Strategy Lead.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (related branches) or college), a master’s degree is plus.
  2. At least 2 years’ experience as a trainer of information (data) management, data collection, analysis.
  3. Excellent communication and teaching skills
  4. Experience working with data analysis softwares such as SPSS, Power BI, Kobo Toolbox, and other related applications.
  5. Proven track record in social research
  6. Qualitative and quantitative data analysis skill
  7. Fluent in Arabic with advanced writing skills, English /Turkish is an add.

  2. Administration, organizational and time management skills
  3. Teamwork and participatory process skills
  4. Knowledge of international law, rules and principles, as well as knowledge of the operating environment

Remuneration:

Will be matching qualifications and market rate. will include Tax, Social Security, Health Insurance and Stamp Duty as per Turkish law.

Will be hired as an employee of Olive Branch, with a short-term contract towards completion of the project described above.
