POhWER
As a Community Manager, you will lead and develop our specialist advocates, ensuring effective delivery of all advocacy services and our Hodge Hill Neighbourhood Network Scheme. Your responsibilities will include working closely with vulnerable adults, often with profound and multiple needs and a wide variety of stakeholders. You will ensure clients’ voices are heard and they are involved in decisions affecting their lives. By fostering strong partnerships with colleagues, clients, and professionals, you will provide high-quality support and guidance. Your role will also involve handling sensitive information, demonstrating inspiring leadership, and managing time effectively.
Hours of Work: Full-time: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
Location: Home based with travel around Birmingham and the surrounding area.(Applicants must live within the area; have a full driver’s licence and access to their own transport. Expenses will only be paid within the Birmingham area.)
Community Manager Requirements
- Proven experience in advocacy, information, and advice within health, social care, secure, or voluntary settings
- Strong leadership and time management skills
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work independently and confidently on behalf of others
- Full driver’s licence with access to your own transport (travel expenses covered)

- Salary: £29,746.00 – £34,995.00 per annum (dependent on experience) + Benefits
