The successful candidate:
Hours: 7:00pm – 7:00am with rotating weekends and holidays
The Patient Care Technician/ Patient Access Representative is a paraprofessional caregiver under the guidance and supervision of a registered nurse. Assumes responsibility and accountability for activities of daily living, certain tests and procedures, environmental duties and other tasks as designated by his/her competency level. The PCT/PAR will also assume responsibility and accountability for patient registration, order entry, selected patient care and environmental duties as assigned. The PCT will provide care for the age groups as defined in the scope of care.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Listed in good standing on Illinois Healthcare Worker Registry or EMT
- CPR card required
