RESPONSIBILITIES

The key objectives of the Logistics manager general resources are as follows, but is not restricted to:
– Identify and manage buildings for office, accommodation and warehouses
– Identify and manage vehicles
– Act as the IT mission focal point
The Scope of Work are as follows:
– Define the needs for accommodation, office and warehouse and identify appropriate buildings. Manage contract and installation (including furniture, internet connection, telecoms, etc…)
– Define the needs in term of vehicle and identify rental companies as a first solution. Define the vehicles strategy (renting or procurement) for the longer term.
– Manage the fleet of vehicles (planning, logbook, fuel, security, etc…)
– Recruit the general resources logistics team (driver, etc…)
– Act as the IT focal point for the mission and coordinate with HQ for all IT matters. Lead on the installation of IT infrastructure in the offices as per ACF standards.
– Setup the mission equipment list and update it regularly. Make recommendation in term of equipment needs for future project/financial plan
– Provide information to finance in term of running cost and equipment need for new proposals.

REQUESTED PROFILE

You have At least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3 years of experience in a similar role within an NGO.
You demonstrate a perfect leadership capacity and have strong people management skills
You are able to manage and optimize a project specifically in an emergency context.
Fluent English is mandatory, Polish or Ukrainian would be a plus.

SPECIFIC CONDITIONS / SALARY

– 3 months fixed term contract under French legislation
– Monthly gross salary from 2010 to 2335EUR upon experience
– Child allowance: 1500EUR per year per child present in the country of origin (maximum 6000EUR/year)
– 16% of the gross monthly salary for pension insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens
– Transportation and accommodation: Coverage of transportation costs and guest house
– Medical coverage: 100% coverage of health contributions (social security + health insurance) and repatriation insurance
– Leaves and RnR: 25 days of paid leaves per year, 20 RnR per year and 215 EUR at each RnR period
