Description
- Provides administrative support by preparing the commitment letters for the Practice Finance, EMT, Business Banking and SBA Sales Teams.
- Must work with a focus on detail as the commitment letter is legally binding
- Responsible for preparing documentation that summarizes all loan terms in connection with the credit approval.
- Generate documentation for the customer summarizing loan terms within expected service levels
- Able to identify discrepancies with loan terms and be able to call attention to any inconsistencies within approval or pricing
- Act as liaison between banker and approver to ensure we have correct documentation.
- Communicate with internal partners to resolve any discrepancies that might arise during the documentation process
- Review and route returned letters once customer signature has been obtained
- Provide support to other teams as necessary to help support business banking
- Will cross train on other functions to support other areas of the Business Loan Center as needed
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- A minimum of one year of experience working in banking, lending or financial services.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Huntington systems including Business Banking & Velocity programs
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, production environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet set deadline
- Willingness to learn new skills and flexibility to help in other areas as required
- Strong attention to detail
- Microsoft Office software
