As part of the global marketing team, you will be responsible for the creation and execution of business plans and managing the commercialization strategies for Varian’s radiation oncology portfolio. Additionally, you will collaborate with product management, regional marketing teams, and global sales to ensure market success.
For U.S., this position may be remote based, but preferred location is Central or East Coast.
What You Will Do
- Develop business cases, marketing plans and strategies to establish, enhance, or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena.
- Assist in developing and driving new pricing initiatives to increase customer value while balancing revenue and margin needs.
- Maintain up-to-date product domain knowledge and trends including competitor products.
- Identify market needs and opportunities via customer research and competitive analyses.
What You Will Have
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related experience or master’s degree with 3 years of related experience.
- Minimum of 3 years expertise in the medical device industry, ideal
- Medical device marketing experience desirable.
- Ability to closely collaborates with across product, commercial, finance, and legal teams.
- Competence in creation of impactful, evidence-based product value propositions and claims messaging.
- Proficient in using business tools such as: Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Available to travel up to 35% to U.S. and international destinations and flexibility to work extended schedules, including some weekends.
