Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Huntington Vendor Finance (HVF) Marketing Team in establishing and managing internal hold limits for HVF customers while servicing and managing our customers overall financing needs through our Originate to Syndicate (OTS) Strategy using a broad network of syndication partners.
  • Assist in the syndication of other industry verticals for Huntington Equipment Finance (HEF), including but not limited to Equipment Finance, Public Finance, Business Aviation, Rail Services, and Renewable Energy and investor development
  • Manage outbound syndicated transactions including structuring, documentation, pricing and closing under tight time constraints.
  • Ability to analyze current on book transactions to determine syndication capability and identify targeted syndication partners.
  • Conduct independent evaluation of all aspects of potential transactions.
  • Conduct industry, business, and collateral research.
  • Work closely with internal teams including Legal, Operations, Risk and Asset Management on deal execution processes.
  • Prepare thorough Offering Memorandums
  • Educate the Sales Reps and Credit Analysts about OTS process (Loan Pool vs One-Off) and benefits of each type of syndication.
  • Provide portfolio management activities related to syndicated transactions and investor’s request
  • Maintain active and relevant role in trade associations.
  • Adhere to established HEF policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Candidate should possess at least 5 years of prior bank or finance company syndication experience
  • Confident self-starter with ability to manage multiple transactions and documentation closings under time constraints.
  • Attention to detail with demonstrated ability to accurately analyze financial information and make well-reasoned business decisions.
  • Ability to accurately communicate results of credit analysis in a complete and concise manner, both written and verbal.
  • Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills necessary to work with businesspeople at all levels.
  • Attention to detail, strong work ethic, and willing to take initiative.
  • Skilled at conducting business research.
  • Proficient using Excel, Word
  • Bachelor’s degree required, course of study to include exposure to finance, accounting, and economics.
  • Ability to travel several times per year
  • Based in Minneapolis, MN, or Cincinnati, OH, preferred. Other remote locations throughout the United States will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Adobe Pro, TValue, Info Analysis, Super Trump, Salesforce, Debt Domain, and other related products used in the financial services industry
  • Knowledge of systems, loan/lease documentation and lien perfection.
