Primary Purpose

The Billing Specialist is detail-oriented and is responsible for the timely and accurate billing of products and services for their assigned area of responsibility. Billing Specialists review daily billing for invoice discrepancies, inaccuracies and errors. This role is crucial to the customer experience.

Essential Functions

  • Review all invoicing prior to posting
  • Review and audit invoices, validate pricing, services, accurate taxes, ancillary charges and overall accuracy of invoices
  • Manage unbilled orders and work with department leads to clear billing errors in a timely fashion
  • Work with and collaborate with the Area Managers, both Sales and Operations
  • Collaborate with all other departments when disputes arise to identify and correct errors
  • Meet department goals and KPI’s around invoice accuracy and unbilled invoices

Qualifications

Education Level – Minimum High School or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience – Minimum Years of Experience Maximum Years of Experience Comments

2 in general clerical/administrative experience in fast-paced environment.
