Currently, we are looking for a Field Application Engineer who would be partners with the sales team to provide product support on technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process (pre and post-sales). As Field Application Engineer you will be working to acquire new business and ensure the growth of existing accounts. Evaluating the potential application of products and recommending solutions that meet customer needs. Creating presentations to potential customers showing the cost-benefit of Littelfuse products.

This role reports to a remote manager from the USA and it may be fully remote.

About The Job

• Provide application support for Littelfuse industrial products across EMEA region: Product lines of focus include earth-fault and arc-flash protection relays, SPDs, with some secondary support for other Littelfuse IBU products such as motor overloads, voltage monitors, etc. Answer technical questions about product features and operation, and give product recommendations to customers based on their application Cross competitive parts to Littelfuse parts for customers, and provide any additional information necessary for a successful application
• Identify and help drive new business opportunities in the region: Using product and market knowledge, identify new business opportunities, and work with the sales team to obtain the necessary contact Using in-depth product expertise, work directly with engineering firms, OEMs, users, and distributors to identify applications and drive specifications towards Littelfuse products Identify new product ideas to improve product competitiveness or secure new business
• Create presentations tuned for the local market and customers, and update technical marketing documents such as FAQs, application guides, white papers, etc.
• Attend industry conferences, trade shows, customer events, and participate in regional codes & standards committees as requested
• Other duties as assigned

About You

• Bachelor/University degree in Engineering
• Comprehension of electricity, circuits and products used for industrial control and protection is a fundamental requirement
• 5+ years of similar work experience
• Comfortable interacting with customer engineers and comprehension of technical issues
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient writing and communications skills with high attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and customer focus attitude
• Advanced knowledge in MS Office
