UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East

– Implementation and follow-up of the activities, results’ oriented.

– Overall programme support to monitoring and reporting.

– Support UNRWA STC in analyzing needs, and propose innovative ideas as well as solutions where required.

– Coordinate with the M&E Officer to ensure that monitoring tools are in place and to track the performance of the implementation. – Responsible for overall quality and timeliness of all internal and external reporting, including quarterly, semi-annual and annual donor reports.

– Together with the project management and STC Provide operational supports throughout the procurement phases.

– Supports in the planning and development of all organizational annual and medium-term strategies pertaining Education/TVET as part UNRWA’s contribution to the LCRP, Emergency appeals.

– Assists in the development of programmatic and technical inputs for strategic fundraising efforts.

– Support in the identification of any potential obstacle or new needs to inform the project management team for proper actions and re-adaptation of interventions where needed.

– Active coordination and collaboration with relevant UNRWA departments to support the integration and running of relevant cross cutting components (including Gender, Disabilities, Addressing Violence Against Children / AVAC, MHPSS, Protection mainstreaming).

– Active coordination and collaboration with the Youth Unit team to support planning, complementary and smooth running of interventions.

– Liaise with the UNRWA Youth Innovation & Employment Hub as well as the UNRWA Career Guidance Unit to contribute to situation analyses to establish evidence-based data to inform a variety of interventions, including STC courses’ upgrading, CG awareness in the schools, advocacy messages on right to work, etc.

– Supports the drafting of relevant policy papers, briefs, and other strategic programme materials for management use,

– Networks with education/livelihood clusters and partners where requested, for exchange of knowledge/expertise to reinforce cooperation to achieve sustainable and broad results.

– Supports in the preparation of communication and information materials.
