Technical Product Manager (London HQ)

We are seeking out a talented, detail-oriented Technical Product Manager, who is passionate about building solutions that our clients will love, with experience of working in a B2B market. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out solutions that support the company’s vision and strategy, alongside specific client needs. The Technical Product Manager role requires a professional who combines both product planning and technical project activities to manage the entire life cycle of our initiatives.

You will be

  • Building a deep understanding of our clients, users and their goals, needs and constraints
  • An expert collaborator working with internal teams and external client teams- including engineers, contractors, quality assurance, and operations to deliver the best solutions that meet client requirements
  • Able to uncover and understand customer needs and translate them into requirements
  • Ensuring project technical deliverables are delivered to agreed scope, quality, timelines and budget using project management tools and methodologies
  • Coordinating external suppliers and resources where needed
  • Ensuring any risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies are tracked and managed
  • Delivering solutions which are supportable- working with the dev team and relevant client contacts to ensure any support agreements are in place.
  • Defining success criteria for testing and product acceptance ensuring all changes to systems are validated/tested before they are transitioned to the live environment.
  • Passionate about understanding, researching, and follow technical trends in the industry and in general. Able to assess emerging products and companies to measure their potential value or threat to the company and its products, as well as make recommendations on which new technologies to invest in or leverage
  • Providing internal and customer training on how to use the product and its various features
  • Answering incoming questions about the product and its capabilities
  • Facilitating the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation
  • Supporting commercial RFP’s and other commercial calls where needed

Required Skills

  • Proven track record of executing through a full product lifecycle including researching customer needs, defining the product strategy, driving execution, product launch, and follow-through
  • Customer-centric approach and a strong desire to understand your user’s perspective and need
  • Strong, cross-functional and cross-organization collaborator
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in solutions development
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to get the job done
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experienced in the Agile ways of working
  • Experience of data integration solutions and implementation
  • Hands on experience with Azure and Azure Integration tools

Ideally, you will also have experience working with

  • Financial/ERP systems, e.g. SAP
  • Azure DevOps
