Equipment Quality and Development Manager (1487)

The Role
The post holder is responsible for managing and developing the Oxfam Equipment Catalogue, ensuring that the equipment therein is the best and most appropriate to support both Oxfam’s and other humanitarian organisations’ humanitarian purposes. The post holder will deliver expert technical support to both the Supply Centre team and to customers, and will lead implementation of new product development in collaboration with the Global Humanitarian Team and other stakeholders. The post holder will support the ongoing development of the Supply Centre 5 year strategy, including high level marketing and product promotion.

- Significant field level experience as a WaSH engineer in a wide variety of Humanitarian Programme environments.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-specialists.
- Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully with a wide variety of people, irrespective of seniority and educational levels.
