- Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field at minimum* Experience: 5-7 years of accounting/finance work experience Experience in education or non-profit preferred. MBA preferred
- Job Description:*
- Review balance sheet reconciliations monthly and advise staff on account reconciliations if needed
- Oversee the Financial Analyst team, reviewing and auditing work for accuracy
- Reviews and analyzes financial reporting processes to identify potential improvements
- Produces monthly financial statements
- Review financial information, provide monthly reports, and access budget vs. actual performance with Headmasters
- Provide extensive support for Headmasters that need financial guidance
- Evaluate spending at the Academy level and identify and resolve potential issues
- Ensure compliance with budget allocations
- Work with all departments to provide Academy forecasts and annual budgets
- Prepare and present Board reports quarterly ** This role will be very hands on, will assist on AP sometimes, reporting Etc. It is a non profit so day to day is always different! Looking for someone who can juggle multiple things at once and is okay with assisting on things other than financial analytics.
