As a Support Time and Recovery Worker (ST&R) you will be an integral part of the Community Mental Health Service delivering evidence-based interventions to a caseload of individuals with mental health difficulties.
The post holder will work within a Community Mental Health Service that has challenged the traditional boundaries between primary and secondary care in partnership with the Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector. Liaison with a wide range of partners is central to the role.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be supporting individuals in their community environment as well as providing in-reach to those who are in-patients to support them to return home.
A collaborative, recovery focused, and strengths-based approach is essential to this role.
To provide Support, give Time to an allocated group of service users with more complex needs and thus promote their Recovery and maintain them in their community environment.
To assist key worker to assess, plan, implement and evaluate individual care plans.
