We are looking for a technology consultant to join our brand-new Ad Tech Operations practice. The team is part of GroupM’s wider GroupM Services setup sitting in a dedicated Ad Tech practice We are a key technical point of contact within Mindshare and our work represents the backbone of digital technology: we provide advice and consulting on technology, and creating & implementing integration or Ad Tech setups for clients based on their specific needs. The role is focused on ensuring a consistent and accurate technical set up, and in the evolving environment of the new Ad Tech Ops practice you will contribute to shaping the operations and our best practices.

Working in Ad Tech Ops within GMS means standing at the core of technological implementation, interaction and collaboration with different teams of specialists puts us as the forefront of the process. You will be expected to deliver high-quality work on a multitude of projects, in a fast-paced environment. You will have ample chance for individual growth, proactive development and multifaceted collaboration with the wider GMS and Mindshare team: communications and collaboration are key.


Our ideal candidate has significant digital experience, understands ad-server technology and Ad Tech in general and is highly organised. Your skills and experience will also include:

  • A demonstrable working knowledge and understanding of ad tech ecosystem
  • Experience in working with major tech platforms and analytics tools (e.g. GA)
  • Working knowledge of web-technologies, HTML, JS and practical ad ops trafficking are highly beneficial
  • Self-starter and motivator with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Sense of procedure within a corporate environment
  • Detail-oriented and able to prioritise and organise workload
  • Strong people skills. Ability and willingness to handle client-facing interactions is important.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Power Point


You will be required to understand our client’s and data & tech strategies to help successfully implement different technology solutions, proposing alternatives and guiding the account teams evaluating ad tech options for their campaigns. They will be involved in media problem solving, trainings, building workflow and process guidelines documentation, data governance and best practices sharing.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Project-manage and deliver complex technical deployments and integrations
  • Creative troubleshooting, utilising appropriate tools and approach
  • Ensuring a consistent and accurate technical set up, tagging and consultancy
  • Consult and communicate confidently and successfully with non-technical stakeholders
  • Help create process documents for multiple parties, keeping all involved in check in coordination with the data team and the account teams
  • Coordinate the scheduling, trafficking and implementation of online advertising campaigns
  • Troubleshoot, coordinate, document, and consult on trafficking, links tracking creation, etc.
  • Implementation of 3rd-party technologies (media verification and analytics tools, container tag solutions)
  • Escalate to appropriate channels when required, and coordinate the troubleshooting process across internal and external teams
  • Strong organisational skills, with particular attention to setting, managing, and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to project-manage and deliver complex technical deployments and integrations
  • Consulting on requirements with Data Strategists and a broader team of experts in different fields.
  • Help design best setups, and later follow up with implementing
  • Implementation of new technology and best-practice, with overseeing and testing to ensure quality outcomes
  • Comfortably acting as the technical go to on client communications
