As a non-governmental social development organisation we support children without parental care and families in difficult living conditions through services in care, education, health and emergency relief, and we advocate for the rights of children and young people, in alliance with a great diversity of partners. We work in 135 countries and territories, reaching over one million children, young people, families and caregivers each year. To support us with this important responsibility the International Office CEE/CIS/ME is looking for a committed and experienced:

Administrator (f/m)

Location: Almaty- Kazakhstan

Purpose of the position:

Support Line Management (Deputy IDR and Management Support Advisor) in maintaining up-to-date processes and reference materials for the Line Management work area, and to support in preparing for training events hosted by the line management work area. Additionally, to support coordination with up to 4 Member Associations in the role of Member Support Advisor**.**

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and share accurate documentation regarding line management work areas
  • Prepare presentations and make arrangements for training events hosted by line management
  • Support CVI representatives in their work with up to 4 Member Associations including:
  • Coordinating and documenting meetings and planned work activities
  • Collecting and checking statistics for management reports
  • Providing information for stakeholders
  • Preparing work travel agendas
  • Other administrative support duties as requested by Deputy IDR and Management Support Advisor

Requirements:

  • University degree in International relations, Business Administration, or relevant field.
  • Minimum 2 years work experience within an international organisation
  • Well-organised, analytical
  • Strong computer skills, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Team player, able to work proactively and to build a strong personal network
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
