SCAN is seeking an Advisor, Digital Strategy. In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Advisor – Digital and various Save the Children teams to support the SCAN digital advocacy and fundraising strategy — with a focus on data integrity, web content management, supporter acquisition and online multichannel campaigns implementation and execution.
Through a marriage of experience, team collaboration and can-do attitude, you will help support SCAN’s multi-year Strategic Plan — keeping in sight key digital KPI’s and proactively providing ideas that would support data integrity, program growth & improved web user experience.
What You’ll Be Doing (Essential Duties)
Web content management & UX (35%)
- In coordination with the SCUS Web Team and the Senior Advisor – Digital, support with SCAN website content needs, such as: creating new pages, adding website features, maintaining content up to date, pro-actively suggesting new content ideas etc.
- Work closely with our web agency in moving forward regular web projects that will favor an improved web UX/UI.
- Keep the SCAN Website consistent with SCUS brand guidelines.
- Assist with maintaining the WordPress environment up-to date.
Data Integrity & Management (25%)
- Be a steward for SCAN’s data environment integrity — by working with all internal stakeholders on always keeping the SCAN file clean and aligned with org-wide privacy policy.
- SCAN Data yearly Road-Map: Work closely with the Senior Advisor – Digital and the SCUS Business Technology and Security team in creating and implementing a yearly Data Road-Map (i.e., data appends, data analysis, list purges etc.)
- Provide support around key opportunities that help grow SCAN’s supporter list while ensuring data integrity.
- Assist SCAN State Teams around regular list uploads and other ad-hoc requests.
- Track supporter list evolutions and pro-actively suggest ideas that would help improve tracking and reporting.
- Regularly use data to grow our digital advocacy & fundraising program
Data Reporting and Performance Monitoring (25%)
- Monthly/Quarterly Digital Digest: Track performance across all SCAN online-channels and share monthly and quarterly reports with key internal stakeholders.
- Monitor performance across various online channels such as email, paid acquisition, web etc.
- Assist the SCAN National, State and Electoral teams by providing campaign KPI’s — whenever needed.
Digital Fundraising & Advocacy (15%)
- Regularly provide implementation support around 3rd party advocacy campaigns (Care2, Meta, CivicShout).
- In collaboration with the Digital Campaigns Lead, support SCAN’s State and Electoral campaign needs by creating and executing email campaigns, event and/or action forms on Everyaction.
- Support the growth of digital fundraising & advocacy activity by identifying and implementing opportunities.
- Provide support around key digital fundraising opportunities such as Year-End and Giving Tuesday campaigns.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience, plus at least 5 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated understanding of how content management systems work and show willingness to not only learn but also to improve processes and systems.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, interpret trends, and translate quantitative insights into actionable strategies
- Proven ability to initiate and lead projects, meet communicated deadlines and navigate multiple competing priorities
- Demonstrated communication and problem-solving skills while working with multiple stakeholders and teams across and external to the agency
- Successful track record of collaborative work and professional flexibility
- Willingness to develop new procedures and processes where they previously did not exist
- Positive attitude and desire to try new ideas
- Professional proficiency in MS Office suite
- Demonstrated experience with Everyaction, WordPress, Monday.com, and Google Analytics
- Professional proficiency in spoken and written English
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with individuals and teams at all levels, both internally and externally
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering and maintaining and environment of diversity, inclusion, and belonging.

Compensation
Save the Children Action Network pays the following salary ranges for this position, dependent on candidate location:
- Geo 1 – NY Metro, DC, and other locations with labor costs significantly above national average: Target Salary for this position is $84,150 – $94,050 base salary
- Geo 2 – Locations around the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $76,500 – $85,500 base salary
- Geo 3 – Locations significantly below the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $68,850 – $76,950 base salary
The salary ranges listed above are for US based candidates. For candidates located outside of the US, salary ranges will be based on the salary scales of the local employer of record.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location (more information on job structure is available here). Employee may be eligible for an incentive program.
