About The Role

As a remote Business Development Associate, you’ll report to our VP Sales and help increase growth through inbound and outbound prospecting efforts, generating leads that turn into quality opportunities for the sales team.

AKASA is based in South San Francisco. As a company, we embraced remote work before COVID-19. We consider ourselves experts in working collaboratively wherever our team members happen to reside.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify and develop an understanding of lead generation processes and leverage marketing activities to achieve goals
  • Support “top of funnel” sales activities such as market research and territory planning
  • Facilitate the scheduling of sales activities
  • Partner with seasoned Account Executives to help manage sales pipeline
  • Work across key systems such as Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, etc.) and Salesforce customer relationship management (CRM) to assist in organizing business development activities

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a sales, business development, or similar client facing role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Adaptable, professional, and motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Interest in making a big impact and grow your career in a high growth startup
  • Interest in or some knowledge B2B SaaS sales
