BKB Retail is looking for an experienced Client Relationship Manager with experience in the Agriculture sector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the marketing and sales of both the BKB agriculture product offering and BKB financial services to clients in and around Ermelo, Mpumalanga, and to develop BKB’s clientele in the region. The role requires a working knowledge of agricultural products such as feed and seed, and a solid and proven sales track record. Knowledge of financial services is a big plus.
The role will operate remotely/ hybrid in-and-out of office with regular check-ins, and will report to the Regional Manager. It will be based out of Ermelo, Mpumalanga – With all the peace and quiet and beautiful scenery of the “platteland”, and the convenience of nearby amenities and great schools.
The package includes a basic salary and generous commission structure. A company vehicle and fuel allowance will be provided, as well as a cell phone, laptop and internet connection. This position offers the opportunity to service and up-sell existing clients and build a portfolio of new clients. Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
Agricultural-related post-matric qualification
3 – 5 years in sales within the agri-industry and/or livestock markets (Essential)
Proven success rate at sales levels achievement
Financial management experience a bonus
Knowledge:
Good understanding of agricultural market.
Ensure constant growth in market share, revenue and profitability
Responsible for effective and efficient logistics and administrative processes
Provide excellent customer service and after-sale service
Good understanding of financial services beneficial
Skills:
Ability to work remotely and independently.
Ability to conduct market and competitor research to identify opportunities in the region.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
