The Opportunity’

The Credentialing Data Support Analyst will take the lead for working cross functionally in the organization to determine contractual requirements for credentialing data reporting for internal and external stakeholders. This role requires a significant level of customer management to ensure collaboration, planning and execution of agreed upon deliverables. The Credentialing Data Support Analyst will take the lead in discussions with the legal team, sales team and others to determine the best approach and methods to deliver data in a timely and appropriate fashion.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and collaborate with client account executives to align with account management strategy for outbound data requests. Ensure reports disclose only requested information and exclude unnecessary data to minimize exposure and risk.
  • Collaborate with interdepartmental leaders to streamline point-of-entry data collection to minimize duplication of work and ensure capture of essential information.
  • Respond to internal and external data requests with the utmost professionalism and timeliness and focus on high-level of customer service.
  • Adhere to protected health information, HIPAA and other internal and external compliance requirements and procedures.
  • Participate in client facing audits focused on delegated credentialing requirements
  • Review contracts and ensure department procedures are adhering to obligations
  • Work closely with client executives to understand client needs and determine processes and policies to administer
  • Work with legal team to determine best approaches to operational situations
  • Collaborate with interdepartmental leaders to streamline point of entry data collection to minimize duplication of work and ensure essential information is captured
  • Determine best reporting standards for clients by meeting regularly with internal and external parties relative to the business requirements
  • Develop, prepare and deliver the reports in conjunction with agreed upon timeframes and delivery methods
  • Ensure outbound reports are branded, appropriate, professional, and user-friendly.
  • Train and onboard new specialists to input data into reports
  • Represent credentialing and recruiting teams in forums with clients, client management and legal to ensure all policies and procedure remain in line with operational capabilities
  • Facilitate discussions with external entities related to contractual requirements to support business needs, agree upon deadlines and appropriate deliverables
  • Other duties as needed related to credentialing, recruiting and provider operations
  • Some light travel within the USA may be required

Candidate Profile

  • Strong communication and influence skills
  • Working knowledge of NCQA and/or other regulatory requirements.
  • Relevant physician credentialing experience required.
  • Relevant audit experience preferred.
  • AAS or AS in Medical Administration or related field, or equivalent educational/work experience required.
  • 2 years of medical administrative or equivalent office healthcare setting experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide professional, high-level customer service.
  • Ability to critically troubleshoot, prioritize, and problem-solve to professionally respond to ad hoc requests and unexpected circumstances, demands, and challenges.
  • Strong time-management skills with ability to meet demanding and recurring deadlines.
  • Intermediate/Advanced software skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Proven ability to independently generate professional reports, documents, and correspondence.

The base salary range for this position is $40,000 – $60,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for performance bonus, RSU’s, and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2022. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
