We usually aim for team members to travel between our offices to have face-to-face time with one another to bond, work together and have fun, and we’re aiming to get back to this in a post-Covid world. In the meantime, we’ve been socialising, playing games, hosting quizzes and connecting online so that we stay close to one another. The opportunity We are looking for a commercially-focused data analyst to help provide our commercial teams with insight, analysis and greater measurability of their initiatives, across our schools and universities portfolio. Reporting into the Revenue Operations Manager, you will work closely with our marketing, sales and customer success teams to help them better understand their own performance, improve their processes and empower them with insight. You will do this through both proactive measurement and reporting on performance against KPIs, and through working with each team on ad-hoc data projects to answer specific questions. As somebody with proven experience of working in an analytical role within a global commercial team, you will understand the speed and accuracy required to help our teams make good decisions that power our growth and development. You will be an excellent communicator, be comfortable working with colleagues from around the world, and have experience of drawing insight from data to make meaningful recommendations to colleagues and managers. Based: Either in our London office, or remotely anywhere in the UK. What you’ll be doing Acting as the first point of contact for data and analytical requirements across our entire commercial team, including sales, operations, marketing and customer success. Working across all of our existing data sources and services, including Salesforce, Postgres, Amplitude, Fivetran and Looker. Creating sustainable measurability within our commercial operations, and providing ongoing oversight and reporting of our key commercial KPIs. Working with commercial teams to answer specific questions through ad-hoc insight projects. Working alongside the RevOps Manager to develop scalable operations and infuse our processes with insight and measurability. Working alongside our data, product and engineering teams to enhance BridgeU’s data capability, including input on the architecture and software required to drive further growth. Promoting a data-driven culture within the teams, and championing the use of insight for effective decision-making. Skills And Experience Requirements 3 years as a commercially-focused analyst at a high-growth business, ideally in the education or technology space. Strong commercial acumen, with knowledge of the commercial drivers for a SaaS business, and experience in materially improving measurability within a high-growth commercial operation. Strong SQL skills, and experience of working with at least one of Looker or Amplitude. Wider experience using BI tools. Experience of creating effective and compelling reports, including dashboards. Moderate Salesforce development experience, with at least some experience of working with Salesforce automations and reporting. Experience designing or implementing Salesforce flows would be a plus.
