Join us!

PSI has worked in Zimbabwe since 1998 to help Zimbabweans live healthier lives and to plan the families they desire. With programs in HIV biomedical prevention and sexual and reproductive health and rights, PSI is increasingly shifting to a health system strengthening approach, supporting the mixed health system in Zimbabwe to bring care closer to the Zimbabwean people we seek to serve. With a history of driving innovations in HIV biomedical prevention such as VMMC and pre-exposure prophylaxis, PSI supports market development, clinical service delivery, digital health and insight driven program design and behavioral interventions designed to shift harmful social norms. Current efforts seek to shift from vertical partner-led programming to more horizontal and integrated GoZ and Ministry of Health led programming, with interventions designed to strengthen health system pillars around management and coordination, financing, service delivery, demand, strategic information, and quality. PSI is seeking a Deputy Chief of Party with significant system strengthening experience who will be responsible for leading an upcoming USAID system strengthening activity in the MNCH space.

PSI seeks a Deputy Chief of Party that will work with the Chief of Party to provide oversight for overall project implementation, ensure project deliverables are delivered on time and within budget, and supervise senior technical staff. This position will support alignment of the project with PSI’s global strategic priorities as well as national and regional priorities, strategies, policies, and interventions; while also ensuring the project operates with minimal financial, contractual, and reputational risk.
