The Talent Attraction Specialist will be responsible for the full-life cycle recruitment efforts supporting American Cancer Society’s Internship and Fellowship programs. The Talent Attraction Specialist will execute job posting management through 3rd party job boards, sourcing prospective candidates, collaborating with Recruiting Manager, Hiring Leader and Program leaders as well as conducting interviews and extending offers to all qualified candidates. This role will be a key player in defining and executing a strong early career program while adjusting for future ROI.

This is a remote role. Candidates can reside anywhere in the US.

Major Responsibilities

  • Review all active applicants and source potential candidates,conduct phone interviews and work with hiring leaders on all active prospects.
  • Partner with hiring leaders on early career needs and provide guidance for top qualified talent.
  • Build relationships with universities across key areas and demographics to aid in pipelining and partnerships.
  • Support our Internship and Fellowship programs working closely with program leads to identify yearly cadence, upcoming opportunities, and potential plans for ROI.
  • Work with Recruiting Manager to facilitate professional development workshops to college students through our programs.
  • Provide an extraordinary experience throughout the entirety of the recruiting process to all candidates and hiring leaders.
  • Partner closely with program leads and hiring leaders to provide consistent and timely updates.
  • Support other full life cycle recruitment where applicable.

FORMAL KNOWLEDGE

  • 1-3 years of recruiting experience
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • Social Media and Job Posting Experience
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at once (i.e.University Relations, Handshake Campaigns, Fellowship support, Internship Support etc.)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment
  • Scheduling events and time management

Competencies/Skills

  • Provide input to ensure that teams consist of diverse, qualified individuals.
  • Ensure that cohort needs are being met with a long-term strategy in mind.
  • Devise and implement sourcing strategies, such as an employer branding initiative, to build pipelines for potential applicants.
  • Create and implement end-to-end hiring processes to ensure a positive experience for candidates and hiring leaders.
  • Form close relationships with program leaders and hiring leaders to ensure clear expectations for candidates and the process.
  • Execute a strategic plan for university relations and identifyresources for support.
