What will you do?

You are accountable for the pre-sales and growth of a range of Electrical CAD Software products & services in Middle East Africa and supports also other international markets. You need to educate customers on offer and application advantages via state of art technical demonstrations. You need to ensure that the commercial offers done to customers will be adapted to their real needs and will bring them the expected ROI, to increase drastically our chance to build recurrent revenues.

IGE-XAO (part of the Schneider Electric group since 2018) has a job opportunity for Electrical CAD Pre-Sales Software Engineer based in Dubai to support the strong international expansion of IGE+XAO and ALPI in the international markets


Based on the plans outlined by the Sales managers and Business developers:

  • Organise customer workshops 50% on-line & 50% on-site to:
    • Understand in details current customer engineering & production process and current digital tools used
    • Run in consequence detailed customized Software Demos in line with customer context
  • Define specific offer package (Software, Training, Customization of Data or Consulting Services)
    • Formulate clear value proposal of the package to the customer (ROI)
    • Inform central team about adaptation and customization need (data, software)
  • Coordination with sales team to build the right quotation for the customers
  • Collaborate with all IGE-XAO and Schneider Electric Sales team to better qualify sales opportunities and ensure efficient F2F interactions with the customers.
  • Collaborate with IGE-XAO and Schneider Electric Marketing and Support teams to give the right market feedbacks to improve permanently our offer to this customer segment.
  • Strongly contribute to achieving commercial targets

About You

  • Electrical Engineering degree
  • Min 5-10 years’ work experience in similar jobs
  • Ideally having a combination of engineering/ tendering and technical-commercial / sales experience
  • Previous experience with electrical engineering Software: SEE Electrical, Eplan, PRO E Solidworks or equivalent
  • Fluent English, French is a plus
  • Strong customer focus
  • Results driven and self-motivated
  • Autonomous and pro-active
  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
