About us:
We envision a world where science is not dominated by a few well-funded labs in high income countries, but instead is made accessible to all. In our mind, everyone, regardless of their background or identity, has the right to access to knowledge and share knowledge. We work on this mission by fostering inclusive interactions for sharing, learning, mentorship, networking, and professional development in the sciences.
Today, Neuromatch has developed an online summer school program that, in the span of five years, has grown to serve over 30,000 participants and is supported by a team of ~500 volunteers. Our academy courses have provided training to thousands of scientists from more than 100 countries in our unique, intensive, small-virtual group format. Learn more: https://neuromatch.io/
These services have provided real-world benefits to participants, resulting in peer-reviewed publications; placement of participants in post-doc, graduate, and industry positions; and use of our open access materials by courses at Stanford, Emory, Harvard, St. Andrews, UPenn, UCSD, Queen’s, and more.
We are very excited to build the future of computational scientific research with you.
