Voluntary Service Overseas
- Manage the preparation and posting of the month end journals including accruals and prepayments.
- Accurately record transactional journals for smaller subsidiaries of income and expenditure on an ongoing basis.
- Ensure strong controls are in place, maintaining balance sheet reconciliations for all accounts each month and following up risks and issues.
- Prepare and file quarterly UK VAT returns, accurately and timely.
- Ensure VSO complies with all HMRC tax regulations and maximises tax opportunities, completing all returns accurately and on time.
- Drive continuous improvement of processes and systems to manage UK compliance and efficiency of tax reporting.
