Envoy Global
We have an opening within Envoy’s dedicated Human Resources team for an experienced Global Payroll and Benefits Administrator to join us on a full time, permanent basis. This role is responsible for the full range of automated system record keeping, processing payroll transactions and reporting activities. In addition to maintaining and analyzing confidential payroll information, this role also supports the administration of benefit and reward programs, serving as a forward-facing resource to Envoy’s employees.
As our Global Payroll and Benefits Administrator, you will be required to:
- Prepare and manage Global payroll and support the administration of Global benefit programs
- Review and process multi-state payroll on bi-weekly and semi-monthly bases for hourly and salaried employees in accordance with state, federal, and local laws and standard accounting principles
- Work with vendors to process Global payroll and benefits payments
- Maintain & audit current payroll system for time & attendance, employee records, etc. in preparation of payroll processing
- Partner with department managers to ensure all timekeeping tasks are completed, and support troubleshooting system issues
- Process voluntary deductions, garnishments, child support orders, tax levies, quarterly tax verifications, in accordance with all relevant Laws
- Serve as a subject matter expert regarding payroll tax and deductions, and support tax-related reconciliations
- Partner with Paycom to ensure payroll tax payment deadlines and compliance requirements are met in all jurisdictions
- Effectively manage year-end W-2 and 1095 process
- Perform daily benefits program tasks, and process new hire enrollments, qualified life events, terminations, COBRA, etc.
- Audit monthly carrier invoices for accuracy and changes
- Answer employee questions related to time and attendance, paychecks, deductions, benefits and taxes
- Support open enrollment and Global benefit processes
- Conduct all employment verifications in a timely manner
- Support Finance and HR teams with special projects and reports as required
To apply for this role, you should possess the following skills, experience and qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years processing payroll for a multi-state employer, demonstrating knowledge of federal and state payroll tax regulations
- Excellent working knowledge of FLSA and related wage and hour legislation
- Advanced MS Excel including V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, complex formulas, macros
- Experience with processing global payroll and liaison with vendors on a global scale – preferred
- Experience administering group benefits – preferred
- Strong working knowledge of PayCom or ADP – highly desirable
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to work in a timely manner, under pressure at times
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline (preferred)
