Tetra Tech International Development (http://tetratechintdev.com) is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for a Human Resources Coordinator. This position will be based in our Burlington, VT office location. The position can be hybrid/remote or fully remote within a commutable distance to the office.

The HR Coordinator supports the Human Resources department by assisting with day-to-day operations as well as special projects. This individual works under the general supervision of the HR Manager but is also accountable to the rest of the HR team (in coordination with direct supervisor) for tasks delegated by other colleagues. These responsibilities and functions as outlined are subject to change at the organization’s discretion at any time.

Responsibilities:

Employee Administration

* Support New Hire Process:

  • Support preparation and dissemination of onboarding documents to both domestic and international new hires, and review and process returned documents through internal systems;
  • Coordinate with TIMS and HOAT on timely provisioning of equipment for new hires;
  • Provide guidance and answer questions in completing paperwork and connecting new hire with internal resources; and
  • Coordinate with Payroll team to ensure employee documentation is accurate and set up in systems properly.

* Process new hires through E Verify and follow up on employment eligibility status (expiring documents);

* Process employee changes (ETRs) through internal systems as requested;

* Respond to requests for employment verifications, research and follow up as needed to provide requested information;

* Support HR team with maintenance and provide periodic audits of files and databases to ensure that contents are up-to-date and compliant with relevant legal and organizational requirements, I-9 forms, SharePoint libraries, Saba/Halogen etc.;

* Support HR in creating and posting HR SharePoint announcements and site updates; and

* Support administration of training programs as requested.

Benefit Support

* Assist HR team with benefit projects such as open enrollment administration and responding to benefit inquiries;

* Coordinate milestone recognition program;

* Coordinate Edge Fitness Center enrollments, payments, and employee deductions; and

* Enroll employees and manage the Smart Benefits Metro Program for Arlington office-based employees.

Additional Responsibilities

* Coordinate, schedule and provide support for special events (such as 401(k) webinars, professional development workshops, Konterra webinars, team retreats and more);

* Support the HR team in providing responses to internal and external audits as needed;

* Assist with annual audit of Saba/Halogen Performance Management System and update guidance documents on the performance management process;

* HR admin manual updates and content review;

* Identify and make recommendations for potential areas of improvement within HR department;

* Create and edit spreadsheets, presentations, and other documents for various departmental needs; and

* Assist with other projects as needed.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree preferred;

* Previous HR experience preferred;

* Minimum of one year of experience in a fast- paced office environment;

* Focused interest in pursuing a career in the field of HR;

* Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion;

* Comfortable working on concurrent projects and activities with professionalism;

* Ability to organize own work and perform independently while closely and appropriately coordinating with team members and across departments;

* Energetic and enthusiastic collaborative team player;

* Very strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills;

* Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously;

* Excellent information management skills, with very strong attention to detail;

* Demonstrated high level of reliability and follow-through;

* High level of proficiency with MS Office applications and databases (PowerPoint and Excel experience essential);

* Reporting experience (running, exporting, formatting, analysis); and

* U.S. work authorization is required.

Pay Transparency Statement:

We are committed to taking a thoughtful, compliant, and equitable approach to employment compensation. We commit to providing a holistic comprehensive salary analysis, including reviews of individual skill sets and compensable factors related to qualifications, business needs, internal compensation data, and industry and labor market surveys. The hourly pay range for this position is $19/hr. – $24/hr.
