This is an opportunity for an HR Specialist to hit the ground running in a varied role with focus on HR activities and supporting the German HR Business Partner. You will be teaming up with an International HR Team in Europe and the United States. You will support a successful business of about 80 Consulting professionals across our Berlin and Cologne offices, who excel in the Energy, Sustainability and Life Sciences field.

Aufgaben

  • First point of contact for our German employees and German apprentices in all matters regarding the employment relationship
  • Working closely with our HR Business Partners in queries regarding labor law cases and cooperation with internal and external parties in all HR topics
  • Administrative processing from entry to exit of all our managers, employees and apprentices (including the preparation of contracts, change assignments, certificates and attestations), including all the specifics of acquiring new stores
  • Ensuring monthly payroll preparation in cooperation with our external service provider and our Payroll team
  • Active contribution to our global HR Transformation and supporting the organizational change from the HR perspective
  • Optimization of HR processes and infrastructure as well as further development and implementation of several topics related to benefits and total rewards
  • First point of contact for labor-, tax- and social security issues
  • Be an ambassador at career events, liaise with the Universities and coordinate Campus recruitment efforts

Qualifikation

  • First experience in a similar role preferably within an international corporate environment
  • Passion for securing and optimizing administrative tasks as well as a careful and conscientious way of working
  • Good user knowledge of German labor and social security law as well as a good understanding in payroll processes
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of service issues
  • Very good digital and analytical-conceptual skills as well as a result-oriented way of working with pleasure in constant process optimization and dynamic change
  • Fluent English and German skills (both written and spoken) and experienced user of MS Office
  • You know how to act as our company ambassador and represent our company with employer branding activities and career events.
