ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT
The DAS /SCOPE unit provides regional support to Country Offices conducting CBT interventions with the use of corporate systems.
JOB PURPOSE
IT SCOPE Intern will be working in the DAS/SCOPE Unit, under the direct supervision of the Regional SCOPE Support team leader.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Working in the DAS/SCOPE Unit, under the direct supervision of the DAS/SCOPE Business Transformation Officer, he/she will support the following functions:

Receive incidents and service requests through the ticketing system for escalation to third level support in the Incident Management System, as appropriate. Assign priority to tickets based on the urgency and impact of the incident.

Communicate with customers and track all open and pending tickets. Log issues and escalate tickets to various technical groups when necessary.

Support second level troubleshooting management and document known bugs.

Translate user manuals, SOPs, guides, presentations and other user training materials from English to Spanish.

Create and order the various training materials, as well as create learning paths for users.

Generate reports and ticketing analysis.

Perform other tasks as needed.
MINIMUN CUALIFICATIONS
Education: The intern must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree programme from a recognized university in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Computer Engineering , Information System or other related area. The intern must have attended courses in the last 12 months and have completed at least two years undergraduate studies. Recently graduates (6 months after graduation).
Language: Fluency in English and Spanish (oral and written communication).
OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED
, Ability to work with a multi-national context team.
. Ability to plan and organize work efficiently.
. Resourcefulness, action orientation, maturity, tactfulness, advocacy skills.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
WFP pays a monthly stipend equivalent of 14% of the daily subsistence allowance prevailing in Panama City for each day worked. The internship is on a full-time basis in accordance with the working schedule of the WFP office.
WFP is not responsible for living expenses, arrangements for accommodation, necessary visas and related costs.
The internship has a duration of 8 months.
