· Pernod Ricard UK, which markets, sells and distributes our products in the UK market
· Chivas Brothers, the largest brand company in the Group, responsible for the production and management of our award-winning Scotch whisky portfolio
· Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail, the global and EMEA home of the group’s duty free, air travel and cruises business.
We are an organisation of 2,000 employees in the UK, headquartered in London, in a brand-new office designed with sustainability, ‘conviviality’ and collaboration in mind. We also have offices in Scotland and various distilleries and production sites across the UK from Plymouth to London to Speyside.
Your new team
This position sits in our Global Travel Retail business. Global Travel Retail is one of the Group’s largest markets, bringing Pernod Ricard brands to life in the exciting and innovative Travel Retail channel which includes duty-free, cruise ships & border shops around the globe. Your unique contribution
You will have plenty of responsibilities:
Solutions Delivery (40%)
Is accountable for the successful delivery of projects and integration (timely, on budget, effective, efficient and within scope) supporting the Operations department, covering Supply, Demand Planning, Forecast and Replenishment. Systems include, but are not limited to: JD Edwards Distribution, Hubble, Connect, Bridge, Product Cloud, Anaplan
Act as the Project Manager – or pilot external Project Managers when necessary – and lead the full project cycle: from Business requirement gathering to functional and technical design, build, testing and roll out; when applicable, apply Agile approach to delivery and adhere to the GTR Project Management Methodology
Gives particular focus to Testing phase, on-boarding key users, supporting the UAT phases until sign-off
Lead the engagement with Pernod Ricard HQ IT and Functional lead to build a strong partnership during Global platforms roll-out
Provide high level quality reporting to the Head of Back Office on project delivery (status, risks and mitigation, change and adoption, support)
Business Partnership (30%)
Leveraging strong expertise of Operations Business processes (Supply, EDI, Forecast in particular) and related system capabilities (JD Edwards, Anaplan mainly):
is responsible to deliver functional requirements through thorough Business Analysis activities, engaging key users and Subject Matters experts; then engage system configuration and development with the support of external partners if needed
lead the local roll-out of the Global platforms and engage with the Pernod Ricard HQ teams in charge of the product roadmap, communicating GTR needs and tracking delivery
Partner with the GTR Digital Transformation Manager so both roles are perceived as a unified entity within the organization to support the Pernod Ricard Group Digital transformation ambition.
Change Management (20%)
Embed System Change Management activities in all major projects, working with the IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM) to gain leadership alignment and stakeholder engagement; Work with the BRM to ensure efficient training that will facilitate the post-go live system adoption
Support the BRM to track the adoption by the end-users community of the key IT Solutions in their perimeter; Identify remediation plan to adoption issues when necessary
Identify with the Business the opportunities to automate Distribution processes using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and work with the Head of Back Office to build an annual RPA roadmap; Execute the roadmap for the processes in her/his/their perimeter
Support (10%)
Provide level 2 support on the systems in her/his/their perimeter by assisting the end-users with their incident and service requests after escalation from the level 1 support (IT Helpdesk)
Escalate to Level 3 (external support from vendor, consultants, developers) when necessary
Ensure support provided is aligned with the Service Level Agreements
Manage Application lifecycle and ensure solutions are always maintained and updated in accordance with Group Security standards
Document support process and when applicable, hand-off to level 1 support (‘shift left’)
Ensure that all key Back Office systems (Tier 1) are thoroughly tested during an annual Disaster Recovery Testing process
Your blend of talent
This position could be right for you if you:
Solid professional experience with ERP services delivery, with proven experience of hands-on JD Edwards Distribution implementation projects
Experience in FMCG industry is largely preferred, experience of the Travel Retail business is a plus
Must have established IT Project Manager experience
Proven experience of large-scale system integration projects
Must have proven track record of EDI implementation applied to Distribution (Customer, 3PL), preferably with JD Edwards
Track record of ERP integration with Forecasting tools is desirable, with Trade Promotion Management (TPM) is a plus; Experience with Anaplan as a Forecasting tool is a plus
Good knowledge of integration technologies and middleware, Microsoft BizTalk and Azure Logic Apps are a plus
Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is appreciated, UiPath preferably
Strong business foundation including solid knowledge and understanding of business concepts and processes applied to Operations & Supply Chain
