Responsibilities

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Florida’s Therapeutic Foster Care Program provides therapy, support, and training to children and families in the foster care system. Based in Deland, FL, this Licensing Supervisor position is responsible for:

  • Oversight of initial licensure and re-licensure of foster homes.
  • Ensures appropriate placement and safety of the children assigned to our care.
  • Ensures staff maintain compliance with all standards and laws related to foster care placement.

Salary: This position’s rate starts at $55,000 / annually; the rate increases with relevant experience and higher Education.

Location: C overage throughout Volusia, Flagler, Putnam counties.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Criminology, Juvenile Justice, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, , Education, Human Development, Child Development, Family Development, and/or Marriage and Family Therapy, required
  • Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field preferred
  • 4+ years of experience working in child welfare required
  • Certified Child Welfare Case Manager (CWCM) or Certified Child Welfare Licensing Counselor (CWLC) required
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred

Other Requirements

  • Valid Florida Driver’s License
