We have an incredible opportunity to join Ultra as an Office relocation project manager.

This role can be based remote, but will require frequent travel to our three operational sites in the UK; Weymouth (Dorset), Greenford (West London) and Loudwater (Buckinghamshire).

Alongside the Change Management and Communications lead, you will oversee Project management of all aspects of the office and operational facility site move, including: the Design and Fit out, Operations and Facilities Management strategy.

You will be responsible for delivery to specification, budget and schedule. Working with the relocation steering group and project team, this role will have a high profile across the organisation and would be suited to candidates with high attention to detail and excellent communications & organisational skills.

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the exit of our existing site in Greenford, the development and delivery of the new location and transfer into the new site in 2023. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the multi-million pound budget.

Responsible For / Key Responsibilities

Governance

  • Leading the internal project team to establish and oversee the functional work streams
  • Effective management of the Construction Consultant Team appointed to Design, procure and manage the fit out contractor.
  • Prepare accurate and timely master programme metrics and progress reports and present to appropriate governance committees on a regular basis.
  • Negotiate with stakeholders and suppliers where relevant to ensure a high quality implementation that achieves business satisfaction keeping to time and budget.

Delivery

  • Accountable for delivery to specification, time and budget for the agreed design and technology solutions.
  • Accountable for ensuring that Business Requirements are met through the development of the design solutions.
  • Management and reporting of risks and issues that threaten the quality of implementation, time-scales and budget.
  • Engagement with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure all critical success factors are understood, included in the planning, and delivered in line with the building asset.
  • Resolving conflicts of interest between stakeholders, work-streams and 3rd party suppliers.

Finance / Budgeting

  • Establishing, controlling and reporting project schedule & costs against an overall WBS & budget.
  • Establish and maintain project metrics to measure and report progress.

Role Requirements

  • Flexibility to travel within the UK
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Security clearance at the level of clearance SC

Qualifications / Skills Required

  • Experienced Project/Programme Manager with extensive knowledge of fit out projects and relocations (essential)
  • Familiarity with RIBA Design Stage process (desired)
  • Detailed understanding of property/facility management and relevant negotiations
  • Experience of IT infrastructure relocation
  • Experience of Telecommunication system relocation
  • Ability to summarise and present complex issues at a high level for executive management
  • Structured approach to identification, definition and prioritisation of work.
  • Deals confidently with conflict, able to maintain a strong professional relationship whilst resolving difficult problems.
