Project Manager – Marcomms

IO Global is searching for a Project Manager to join their Marketing & Communications team. As Project Manager you will manage the delivery of a portfolio of projects focused on IOG’s external assets – often web builds or blockchain based services with a front end, but also including video, occasional events as well as communications initiatives. We’re looking for someone collaborative and ego-free, who is able to show us that they’ve made both reasoned and intuitive decisions in previous jobs, are pragmatic, and have a strong teamwork ethic. You will have support from the head of delivery in delivering your work however we’ll expect you to be comfortable working under your own initiative. Previous agency experience would be hugely beneficial to this role as this largely mimics the environment we are cultivating for the team. Your mission Represent the authoritative source of all delivery status information on your projects Be a pro-active solution finder – positive and collaborative in your approach Act as key liaison between internal and external teams for delivery management Lead the planning and implementation of projects Assist the head of delivery in identifying gaps in process or skills and implementing solutions Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables Define project tasks and resource requirements Develop full scale project plans Assemble and coordinate project staff Manage project budget & timeline Track project deliverables using appropriate tools Collate and present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions An active participant in the project development process – inputting on solutions and providing feedback. Your expertise 5 years prior agency experience is highly preferred – most projects are digital in nature but some exposure to communications, film & events would be helpful. Some experience facilitating a collaborative and creative environment whilst working remotely would be ideal. Comfortable working in a fast paced, changing, technical environment. Boatloads of initiative, grit and drive Experience managing complex creative programmes of work ($1m).
