Location: Edinburgh We give you a world of potential We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a talented and nurturing Quality & Performance Manager to join our Global Technical Support (GTS) team in Edinburgh. Our GTS team was set up 4 years ago and is continuing to grow as we implement new products, work to improve the way we do things and focus on career progression for our employees. You will work as part of the GTS Leadership Team, meaning that you will be involved in the wider strategic decisions being made within the department. This position will be a hybrid office/home role, meaning that we are looking for an individual who is able to work in the centre of Edinburgh. A role you will love As our Quality & Performance Manager, you will work closely with the department leaders to ensure we have an organisational strategy to deliver excellence and loyalty across the department. You will manage a team of experienced technical trainers and Quality Assurance Coaches to help them reach their own potential and thus, provide the best possible experience for our teams where they can learn and continue to grow. Diversity & Inclusion is a hot topic in this team, and you will be tasked with working alongside our Change & Community team, and the wider community to develop strategies focused on diversifying our teams and culture, and ensuring that GTS are set up to accommodate individuals with a range of desires in their career. You will work with the GTS leadership team to develop training methods and promote an environment of continuous learning, continuous improvement, and Agile culture. Other key responsibilities include: Develop and implement a quality and performance strategy to deliver excellence and loyalty across the department Manage relationships with external training vendors Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness and success Overall accountability of the departments training budget Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments, and best practices Manage QA Assessment and coaching and link this to people’s development plans Manage and develop our Performance & Incentive scheme What will you bring to the role? We are looking for you to have a true passion for coaching & development, people, and training. Relationship building, and management is key to success. You’ll have a track record building and sustaining positive and collaborative relationships with a variety of teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors at all levels. We are looking for you to have a breadth of understanding of departments needs and dynamics, so that you can identify strengths and develop opportunities within processes/programs as needed, whilst nurturing diverse teams to exceptional performance. Other key skills required: Excellent planning, communication, organisation, and leadership skills Commitment to quality and attention to detail Flexible approach to working day and environment Pragmatic and collaborative approach Track record in designing and executing successful training programs Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations, etc.) A good knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards This is a truly fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to join a team where your voice will be heard, and you can make a change.
