About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join an impactful and exciting programme which will support recruitment for a Programme in Eastern Europe. The Resourcing Officer will lead on the fast paced, ongoing recruitment and onboarding of international specialist safeguarding consultants, contracted for both long term and short term assignments on the programme. The ideal candidate will be someone who has experience working in a fast paced and collaborative environment, with strong administrative skills and an eye for detail.

We have an exciting opportunity to hire a Resourcing Officer to support the Resource and Support Hub (RSH) which is expanding in response to the war in Ukraine. Please read on to learn more about the role and kind of applicants we are looking for.
ROLE OVERVIEW
Summary of role
Reports to: Project Manager
Location: This is a UK based role. You must have eligibility to work in the UK.
The role will be based in our London Head Office – we are open to flexible working.
Appointment term: Fixed term contract for 18 months with possibility of extension
Remuneration Package: £30,000 – £35,000
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Due Diligence, Contracting and Onboarding
· Work closely with the London based Project Officer and key team members based in the region to ensure that registered consultants are available to conduct work in a timely fashion.
· Conduct relevant background checks on consultants.
· Negotiate consultant daily rates in line with target margins.
· Draft consultant contracts.
· Onboard safeguarding consultants/service providers that are registering on RSH directory.
· Support the RSH Quality Assurance Process.
· Support colleagues in developing job descriptions for assignments and allocating rates against programme banding**
Resourcing
· Support the set up of safeguarding expert profiles on the RSH website.
· Manage the consultant roster and folders, collate and maintain skills matrix for consultants.
· Own skills matrix, list of CVs, consultant roster for resourcing any capacity gaps.
· Obtain and collate feedback on and from consultants.
· Receive new CVs and update skills matrix, liaising with relevant team members to share profiles.
· Resourcing new consultants and CVs for rosters on occasion when a future need is anticipated.
· Liaise with wider SDDirect teams and consultant database to share CVs of relevant consultants.
· Lead, with Programme Manager support, on upgrading of skills matrix and contractual process.
· Identify suitable registered consultants for assignments, discussing and agreeing new rates with Programme Manager supervision.
HR
· Conduct pre-screening interviews with shortlisted candidates.
· Coordinate assessments and schedule formal interviews with shortlisted candidates.
· Provide ad hoc admin support for colleagues on HR and onboarding related issues
General
· Join regular key team meetings to track resourcing pipeline and consultant feedback.
· Provide updates to the Programme Manager and Team Leader on any risks or issues around resourcing, due diligence and contracting.
Person Specification
Essential:
Education and Experience
Minimum of two years’ experience in a fast paced, admin role.
Knowledge and experience of using resourcing platforms, for example LinkedIn.
Communication
Ability to collaborate with a range of stakeholders from different cultural and international backgrounds.
Communicates in a polite and confident manner.
Leadership and Team
Contributes to a cooperative team working environment.
Solutions focused with an interest in working in a supporting role.
Planning and self-management
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure, whilst remaining diligent.
Ability to use own initiative.**
Desirable:
Education and Experience
Experience of working in a recruitment related role.
Knowledge and experience of using recruitment channels, for example LinkedIn.
Experience of working in an SME and/or a consultancy.
