Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide strategic HR direction to the leadership in the allocated portfolio.
- Partner with managers and provide comprehensive and holistic service on all the HR aspects.
- Ensure effective implementation of all HR processes.
- Manage the overall level of people risk in the portfolio and ensure compliance to HR policies and labour legislation.
- Build relationships and network with line managers including EXCO through effective communication.
- Facilitates all organisational employee wellness initiatives.
- Assist in the implementation of all HR related projects.
- Provide professional leadership and support to head office HR team.
Any Other Tasks As Agreed With Line Manager.
Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in at least one of the following disciplines: Human Resources, Labour Relations, Organizational Development, and Industrial Psychology.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience as HR Generalist.
- Minimum 5 years management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to creatively solve HR related problems.
- Solid project management experience and competence.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Sound experience in Employee Relations, Organisational Development, Employee Engagement.
- Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Experience in the Health sector and or NGO space will be an added advantage.
- Computer Literacy and proficiency in MS Office (advanced Ms Excel).
- Sound business acumen and a strategic thinker.
- Knowledge and experience working with BCEA, Employment Equity Act, Skills Development Act and Labour Law.
- Knowledge and experience of the section 197 process.
