Overview of Position
- CTG is looking for qualified candidates for the below mentioned TOR.
Role Objectives
- Responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance & support of data centres & the LAN, MAN, WAN & security infrastructure in offices & regions.
- Manage infrastructure projects.
- Provide advice to implementing partners of the UN.
- Provide tier 3 support & expert advice.
- Project reporting
- This role reports to the line manager.
Key Competencies
- Minimal 5 year experience in designing, implementing, configuring, managing & monitoring infrastructure in large & complex environment.
- Experience with network & traffic analysis tools.
- Strong background in Cisco LAN, WAN & security equipment.
- Industry recognized certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCDA or CCDP is an asset.
- Strong background in Windows Server based systems.
- Industry recognized certifications such as MSCA or MSCE is an asset.
- Strong background in check point network security solutions.
- Industry recognized certifications such as CCSA or CCSE is an asset.
- Experience with a project management methodology such as PMP, PRINCE2, etc.
- Knowledge of the ITIL framework.
- Experience in customer services & the ability to provide a professional interface with the user community.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work outside normal working hours if required.
Team Management
- This role has no team management responsibility.
