Overview of position:

  • CTG is looking to contract an experienced contractor to perform the services mentioned below for our operations in Mali.

Role objectives:

  • Deliver services in support of resources planning & performance control activities within the aviation section.
  • Ensure aviation goods & services purchasing are in line with the master budget / acquisition plan.
  • Provide technical expertise & assistance on the control, monitoring & follow up of aviation financial expenditure including follow up with budget & finance section.
  • Provide technical expertise & assistance in the field of aviation financial & budgetary management.
  • Provide technical assistance on the assessment & required activity implementation to the redeploy of funds when required during the performance of the contract.
  • Provide technical expertise & assistance in preparation of the section proposed budget & budget performance report.
  • Provide analytical estimation & projection required funding for budgetary purposes.
  • Provide technical expertise & assistance to maintain aviation budget records, database, spreadsheet, files & portfolio of evidences complete & up to date.
  • Provide technical expertise & assistance in preparation of budget performance submissions.
  • Perform other task related to resources planning & performance control activities.

Project reporting:

  • This role reports to the line manager.

Key competencies:

  • University Degree / Qualification in Air Transport Business Administration & Management, Aeronautical Law & legislation, Aeronautical Engineering, Air Traffic & Air Space Management, Aerodrome Engineer, Air Safety Management or graduation from the equivalent military training organization is required.
  • Qualification on project management or financing & accounting, public administration, resources management is an advantage.
  • A minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in aviation industry including at least 2 years in an occupation directly related to air transport operations & management (aeronautical law & legislation, air transport standard & regulations, air safety management quality control, quality assurance, budget, finance, operations & resources planning, project management, business administration & safety).

Team management:

  • This role has no team management responsibility.
