Job Title: Short-Term Summer Hire, Middle Donor Program
Department/Location: Remote
FLSA: Non-Exempt, full time, 35 hours/week
Reports To: Donor Discovery Officer
Duration: June – September

Background:
The Middle Donor Program (MDP) team falls under the Individual Giving department within CRS’ Charitable Giving division. The MDP team oversees engagement and stewardship of donors giving $1,000 – $25,000 annually to CRS. The summer associate will support the MDP team in content development, communications, donor engagement, analytics and stewardship.
The role will also involve working closely with the Charitable Giving Content Team. The CG Content Team is responsible for producing quality, compelling, in-print and online content about CRS’ work and mission. This includes copy for direct mail and online campaign materials, web pages, scripts, videos, as well as a variety of reports, donor proposals and other materials as needed.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Support the Content team in developing strategic written and video content
- Analyze past year’s emails and performance metrics to determine successful trends and make recommendations
- Assist in developing personalized donor engagement plans
- Assist with data and webpage management
- Support development officers in donor outreach
- Other roles and duties as assigned

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organization skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
- Commitment to professionalism, ethics, and maintaining sensitive donor information
- Interest in professional development and continuous learning related to this set of responsibilities
- Outstanding collaborative skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree program enrollment, preferred
- Excellent communications skills, both oral and written
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office Systems
- Experience or interest in nonprofit fundraising
- Volunteer or work experience in the nonprofit setting
- Understanding of digital marketing and data analytics
Environment:
- Full-time telecommuting/home office.
