REPORTING LINE: The Supply Chain Placement Student will report directly to the Senior Buyer.

LOCATION/BASE:

Unit 1 Oakbank, Channel Park, Queens Road, Titanic Quarter, Belfast, BT3 9DT.

The Supply Chain team is responsible for developing the supply chain and procuring the components, equipment, and facilities to support the manufacturing, assembly and delivery of all Artemis Technologies products, including the electric foiling drives and high-speed vessels.

THE ROLE:

This is an opportunity for a Supply Chain Placement Student to take on a challenging and exciting 12-month placement role with Artemis Technologies as it grows rapidly to achieve its unique, leading-edge technology-driven vision through its world class team.

As our Supply Chain Placement Student, you will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support for the purchasing of the Artemis eFoiler® and Artemis Technologies vessel parts and services, as well as participating in, and if appropriate, leading strategic projects.

The manufacturing department will use various processes and methods to transform raw materials, components, and parts into finished goods for customers to required standards of quality, cost, delivery, and safety.

With guidance and coaching, you will have tactical responsibility for the purchasing and receipt of goods and services (direct and indirect spend) and for operational goals to exceed customer expectations for product quality, cost and delivery, maximizing efficiency, and driving operational excellence.

You will have an opportunity to develop your business acumen by collaborating closely with colleagues from other departments and gaining insight into how company operates and meets its goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Raise Purchase Orders and liaise with suppliers on the delivery of Artemis eFoiler® and Artemis Technologies vessels parts.

• Raise Purchase Orders and liaise with suppliers on the delivery of the supporting equipment and facilities for the Artemis eFoiler®.

• Support the Procurement Team in tracking inbound orders and escalate delivery issues.

• Support the warehouse function in receipting goods, assist in the put away of materials and receive onto the ERP/warehouse management systems.

• Create and maintain a contracts folder and update contract rates and renewal dates.

• Carry out other business-related duties and tasks as and when required.

• Ensure compliance with Artemis Technologies Policies and procedures.

• Build good working relationships across Artemis Technologies.

• Contribute to shaping a culture that reflects Artemis Technologies Values and Guiding Principles and enables the company to achieve its goals.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Education/Qualifications and Experience Required:

You will need to be a second-year undergraduate university student on a four-year degree expecting to do a work placement in your third year and returning to study for a final year.

You should preferably be studying for a degree in Business Studies/Management/Administration, Economics, Procurement or similar, with a keen interest in pursuing a career in Procurement or more generally in Business after graduation.

Please provide a note of A level subjects (or equivalent) and grades.

Please provide a note of undergraduate modules completed to date with scores.
