Sustainability Project Specialist

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Develop measures on divisional level to contribute to Div. E 2030 and 2040 target (CO2 neutrality)
  • Support implementation of measures derived with the Sustainability strategy team to contribute to ZF 2040 target within functions and product lines
  • Monitor customer-specific sustainability strategies and recommend update of divisional strategy
  • Integration and implementation of social and ecological aspects into the organization’s business processes and future strategies and steer the entire division towards sustainability
  • Creating and managing sustainability project portfolios to track Divisional Carbon footprint and budget
  • Analyze and predict the present and future practice and watch over environmental impact of organizational practices regions
  • Introduction and implementation of high-visibility projects to promote sustainability related topics
  • Organizing sustainability workshops, summits, bar camps, campaigns together with sustainability lead
  • Engaging and collaborating with external partners on innovative sustainability ideas/projects
  • Be a role model for sustainability within individual function related activities and beyond

Your Profile:

  • Strong technical and topics-specific academic background (environmental, material or production-technology background) preferred MBA
  • Working experience with Carbon governance and/or Life Cycle assessment
  • Collaborative and decision oriented (interacting with several corporate and divisional, and other internal stake-holders)
  • Strong analytical skills (defining & structuring problems, driving analysis and “insights”, and making recommendations)
  • Project Management skill set to drive the operational implementation of various initiatives within functions and PLs
  • Strong awareness of sustainability topics and relevant experience in improving the environmental footprint
  • Excels at IT tools (MS Office, MS Projects, Power BI etc.)
  • Fluent English is must have
