Med'EqualiTeam
Med’EqualiTeam is volunteer-run NGO that provides primary healthcare to Ukrainian refugees in Poland. We are seeking a Volunteer Coordinator who will assemble competent and dynamic teams of volunteers that complement each other in skills and experience to ensure continuous operations and consistent quality of care for MET’s patients. Responsibilities and task descriptions:
- Advertise new positions
- Implement existing processes for recruitment and on-boarding of new volunteers (registration and evaluation of applications, interviews, scheduling, travel and accommodation logistics, volunteer induction, evaluation of trial period, exit interviews, etc)
- In liaison with Medical Coordinator and Project Manager, organize volunteer schedules
- Look out for the well-being and functioning of all our volunteers
- Ensure professional behaviour and respect of MET code of conduct by all volunteers
- Ensure the confidentiality of all HR data and information according to MET’s processes
Willingness to contribute to other aspects of MET’s activities, and particularly to contribute to MET’s social media activities will be greatly appreciated.
Profile required :
Mandatory :
- Fluency in English
- Strong organizational skills
- A high level of personal organization and flexibility
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills
Desired competences and skills:
- Experience in HR and in working with volunteers
- Previous experience working or volunteering with displaced or vulnerable people
- Previous work experience in NGOs/INGOs
- Knowledge of Russian, Ukrainian, or Polish
- Proactive, hardworking and conscientious
- Commitment to humanitarian principles and to MET’s mandate
As a key position, we ask for a minimum of 3 months commitment. Applicants must be legally permitted to stay in Poland. Non-EU citizens must apply for the necessary visas themselves. Visa costs can not be reimbursed
