At Northern we aim to deliver and champion excellence in not only our services, but also our People. We have an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Advisor to join our supportive and friendly Recruitment Team for a 12 month Fixed Term contract based in Leeds.

Our agile working policy gives an opportunity for the successful candidate to work flexibly between home and our city centre office. There will be occasions where you’ll need to travel across our network for meetings or to be part of interview panels and recruitment events.

Reporting to one of our Senior Recruitment Advisors, you’ll be responsible for delivering an exceptional end to end recruitment service for volume roles across the Northern network.

You’ll be managing and delivering recruitment campaigns to meet our resourcing requirements, focusing on delivering a great candidate experience whilst attracting and recruiting the best talent into Northern. You’ll need to be a great communicator who can build good working relationships in order to provide expert advice, guidance and support to Recruiting Managers.

You will also have line management responsibility for a Recruitment Administrator.

We’re looking for an experienced recruiter who is used to working in a busy environment, who can manage multiple campaigns and work to tight deadlines.

You’ll also need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • A proven track record of managing the end-to-end recruitment process
  • Confident and articulate and able to connect with people at all levels with a strong customer focus
  • Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
  • Previous experience of working in an advisory capacity, providing Line Manager guidance and support in line with company policies and best practice
  • Experience of using a Candidate Management System
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines in a busy office environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week.
