Action Against Hunger is currently working with CALP to recruit a Administrative Assistant for CALP.

We’re looking for someone to establish and lead a small CALP team in the Philippines to take forward CALP’s work in Asia and the Pacific – this is an exciting role with huge potential.

The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Regional Team. The role requires attention to detail coupled with excellent organisational skills to get things done efficiently. This is an important role that enables the whole team to be at its best and helps CALP excel.

This role is hosted by Action Against Hunger and you’ll be based in their office in Manila. You’ll be joining a strong and motivated CALP team and, while the team is globally dispersed, they are very connected – collaborating through daily engagement.

Key activities in your role will include

  • Support the planning and management of events, mostly on-line and occasionally face-to-face. This includes platform facilitation, technical support for on-line meetings, registration management, note-taking, etc.
  • Support procurement and logistical processes, liaising with host agency and tracking progress to ensure timely completion of processes; resolving any issues as may arise.
  • Support grant management by updating trackers and assisting with grant related administration.
  • Provide clerical support to the team, including note taking, the maintenance of contact lists, electronic filing etc.
  • Track payments and follow-up as necessary, ensuring correctly coded and timely processing.
  • Deal with general enquiries, for example, helping people connect with CWGs; signpost to CVA resources; respond to training enquiries.

Our remuneration package:

• Formal work contract: 24 months (fixed-term, renewable)

Base: Manila

Compensation based on salary grid: E1A Level
