Finance Delegate für Ukraine

The Austrian Red Cross (AutRC) is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Finance Delegate. The delegate is coordinating the financial management of programmes for conflict affected people in Ukraine. Under the guidance and supervision of the finance department of the Headquarters the Finance Delegate provides financial services, ensures high quality, accuracy and consistency.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Financial administration of projects through:
• Establish and monitor financial processes within the project team and with partners in Ukraine
• Verify of invoices and control of supporting documents for payments
• Maintenance of the filing system and documentation
• Cash Management
• Ensure the implementation of donor requirements
• Follow up with project staff and project partners
• Preparation of financial reports and reports for AutRC headquarters in Vienna.

Your profile

• Degree in Business Administration or relevant finance experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Good knowledge of business practice in Ukraine
• Fluent in Ukrainian and /or Russian, good knowledge of German and English
• Experience in working in an international team/internationally
• Experience in working with projects
• Excellent MS Excel and Navision skills
• Attention to detail
• Experience of work with the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement is an asset
• EU citizenship or permanent work permit for the EU required

About the job

• Job location: Ukraine, Kiev, with frequent travels in the country
• Start of employment: as soon as possible
• Duration: until December 2024
• Working time: full-time
• Compensation: depends on qualifications and experience, minimum monthly all-in salary of € 3.600,00 gross
