Overview of Position

  • CTG is looking for qualified candidates for the below mentioned TOR.

Role Objectives

  • This Technician will assist clients / users & other technical personnel resolving VTC, network & end user equipment problems.
  • Duties will include receive & process help desk all’s, record request for services, assisting users both remotely or in person on any VTC related problem, identifying, tracking, isolate & repair of VTC & network faults & monitoring performance of ongoing VTCs.

Project Reporting

  • This role reports to the line manager.

Key Competencies

  • Minimum of High School Diploma & successful graduation from a minimum of 4 years of related college or other related tertiary academic or technical qualification.
  • This Technician must have at least 5 years or relevant working, experience on client used equipment & have an appropriate technical college certificate & must be conversant in user hardware & software.
  • The position, reports to the relevant contract owner UN officer & requires close interaction & coordination with UN personnel.
  • This Technician must be able to work successfully both supervised & unsupervised.

  • This role has no team management responsability.
