where it started its activities in the city of Aleppo north of Syria and was licensed in turkey in 2014

Job Title: Liaison Officer

Reported to: Marketing & Fundraising Coordinator

Job purpose:

With the guidance of the Resources Development Coordinator, the Liaison Officer will act as the middle person between the Fundraising Department of Bonyan Organization, other internal departments, and humanitarian actors and associations to streamline operations, resolve issues, improve communications, and generally ensure that the relationship is as beneficial as possible.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Acting as a focal point between internal departments and partner organizations to facilitate communication and information exchange between stakeholders.
  • Developing and maintaining task management streamline between stakeholders.
  • Translating and obtaining legal administrative documents related to due-diligence applications and implementation of programs in collaboration with the program departments.
  • Using staff feedback to recommend and implement new initiatives to improve internal cooperation.
  • Keeping lists of the personnel representing the external agencies or organizations.
  • Facilitating meetings and cooperation among internal departments, agencies, and organizations.
  • Identifying obstacles and problems in communication among these groups

Academic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Public Relations, or any other related field.


  • Experience in liaising/coordinating activities with other teams and organizations,
  • Good understanding of INGO/NGO and humanitarian work
  • At least three years of work experience in liaison or a similar role
  • Previous experience in the humanitarian sector is preferred
  • A team player, eager to learn new skills


  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Arabic
  • Knowledge of written Turkish preferred.
  • Familiarity with collaboration and task management software like Trello, Asana, etc.
  • Strong management, planning, interpersonal and communication skills,
  • Strong report writing and documentation skills,
  • Excellent computer skills, especially in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
