Strategic Planning and Development – Develop and implement long-term strategies for the Rakita in alignment with the company’s overall goals.- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential partnerships, acquisitions, and investments.- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
Production Oversight- Supervise the production process for any on-air production such as promos, commercials and radio packaging, ensuring high-quality output.- Collaborate with producers, sound engineers, and other production staff.- Manage budgets and timelines for recording sessions, video shoots, and other production activities.
Marketing and Promotion- Work with marketing and PR teams to create effective promotional strategies for on-air programs.- Oversee the creation of promo materials, social media content, and campaigns.
Station Management- Schedule logs on a daily basis and ensure they are planned at least one day in advance.- Regularly update and balance the song rotations twice a week to maintain freshness and variety. – Oversee the execution and preparation of chart shows to ensure they are well-organized and effectively delivered.
Stakeholder Management- Manage relationships with distributors, streaming services, and retail partners.- Develop strategies to maximize sales and streaming revenue.- Monitor on-air performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet targets.- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.- Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals, including other music executives, producers, and media representatives.- Stay informed about industry developments and trends.
On-Air Content Generation- To actively generate, plan, and develop content for On-Air broadcasts, including preparing show prep materials and writing scripts. – Assist with station packaging every 3 months and implementing music changes every two weeks. – Collaborate closely with production engineers to produce new sounds and ensure seamless integration of audio elements into broadcasts.- Decide on the genre and style of the song based on the artist’s strengths, target audience, and market demand.- Work closely with production engineers to translate the songs to the on-air, ensuring all elements are cohesively integrated.- Ensure that the song selections fit seamlessly within the context of the direction of the company, maintaining thematic and stylistic consistency.- Maintain high standards of quality across all music selections, ensuring they meet industry benchmarks and the company’s artistic vision.
Compliance- Ensure the Compliance to Laws and Regulations.- Ensure the programs in Compliance to Kementerian Belia & Sukan mandate and regulations.- Ensure compliance and rightful agreement with Public Performance Malaysia (PPM), Music Authors Copyright Protection (MACP), Commercial Radio Malaysia (CRM), Telekom Malaysia (™), Radio Computing Service (RCS), Benztown and etc.

- Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Business or a related field.
- 1-2 years of professional working experience, with a solid portfolio.
- Deep understanding of the music industry, including trends, market dynamics, and key players.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with artists, producers, labels, and other industry professionals.
- Proficiency in RCS, Office & Pro tools any related Digital Audio Workstation.
