ABOUT THE ROLE
Associations International (AI) is an association management company based in Lexington, KY, who partners with non-profit trade and career associations. Our job is to help those non-profits meet their mission and grow their membership through the work of our talented, dedicated team.
Our client partner, the International Coaching Federation (ICF), is seeking a Program Manager to join the ICF Foundation team. The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the successful implementation of the Ignite Initiative program for the ICF Foundation. This position will collaborate with stakeholders to plan, execute, and evaluate program activities to ensure the achievement of program goals and objectives, according to the ICF/ICF Foundation Strategic Plan. The Program Manager will report to the Director of Social Impact.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
a. Program Planning and Coordination:
- Develop and manage program plans, timelines, and budgets
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define program goals, objectives, and deliverables
- Coordinate program activities, tasks, and resources to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Coordinate and facilitate the Ignite project management trainings
b. Team Leadership and Management:
- Supervise and guide stakeholders (ICF Foundation staff, ICF staff, ICF Chapters, Council of Ambassadors, volunteer coaches, coaching clients, and others)
- Collaborate with the Director of Social Impact to foster a positive and collaborative work environment to maximize performance for the Council of Ambassadors
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to stakeholders
c. Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders (program partners, etc..)
- Communicate program updates and progress to stakeholders through written reports, presentations, and meetings
- Collaborate with external partners to leverage additional resources and support for program initiatives
d. Program Evaluation and Reporting:
- Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track program outcomes and impact
- Analyze program data and prepare comprehensive reports to assess program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
- Ensure alignment with ICF/ICF Foundation strategic plan
- Collaborate with the ICF Foundation Outreach and Communications manager to develop the Ignite Initiative program quarterly newsletter
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, nonprofit management, social sciences)
- At least 3+ years of experience in program management or a related role
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams, including the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify program challenges and propose effective solutions
- Proficiency in using project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and database management systems
